Distillery
Ledaig is the peated malt of Tobermory distillery, founded in 1798 on the Isle of Mull and one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland. From its harbour-side home in the town of Tobermory, the distillery draws soft water from the island's hills to create a maritime spirit usually defined by Hebridean peat and sea air. Yet a single cask can take its own path: this one set the smoke aside and grew quieter and more delicate across three decades in oak, a rarely-seen, gentler face of Ledaig.
