Tiefgolden. Deutliche Perlenbildung und langsame, gleichmäßige Schlieren.
Aroma
Frische, klare Nase mit leichtem Prickeln. Fruchtige Kopfnoten von Zitronenzeste, unreifer Melone, Ananas und zarten floralen Anklängen. Mit Wasser ein Hauch Butterscotch.
Taste
Leichte Textur, frischer und süßer Auftakt, leicht säuerlicher Gaumen in der Mitte und ein herber, pfeffriger Abgang mittlerer Länge mit anhaltendem, prickelndem Pfeffer.

Auchentoshan
Distillery
Founded in 1823 on the edge of the Kilpatrick Hills near Clydebank, Auchentoshan is the Lowlands' most distinctive distillery and the only one in Scotland to triple distil all of its whisky. That triple distillation, fed by soft water from the surrounding hills, creates an exceptionally light and delicate Lowland style, fresh citrus, green fruit and a gentle nutty sweetness with none of the smoke found further north. Pour it from a single cask, bottled just as it left the oak, and you meet that triple-distilled finesse at its purest, one barrel's worth and not a drop more.
