About

Auchroisk

Distillery

Founded in 1974 on a low hillside above the Burn of Mulben, Auchroisk is one of Speyside's modern workhorses. Built to supply malt for the J&B Rare blend, it draws its water from the nearby Dorie's Well to create a clean, contemporary Speyside style, bright citrus and green orchard fruit over creamy cereal, with a subtle herbal dryness on the finish. Most Auchroisk spirit vanishes into blends long before it ever reaches a single malt label, so a single cask bottling like this offers a rare opportunity to experience the distillery's vibrant character in a unique, never-to-be-repeated form.
